Secrets of Allentown is a self-guided walking and house tour in the City of Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood. Between 1994 and 2006, more than 150 properties have been included in the tour. Tour participants receive a guidebook with information about each of the properties on the tour and are encourage to walk through Allentown to the properties. At each property participants can expect to wait few minutes before entering, but are free, within reason, to set their own pace inside the properties. Assocation volunteers are present in the properties and may be able to answer participants questions. In some cases the owners/tenants of the properties have very kindly agree to be present throughout the day. To aid those who may need some assistance in getting around, there will also a free trolley service which will make designated stops throughout the tour area in a continuous loop. And all parking restrictions are lifted throughout Allentown on the day of the event. You can park on both sides of every street, so there's plenty of free, convenient parking.
